Prof. Guowei Zhou

Qilu University of Technology, China

Dr Guowei Zhou is currently a Professor at Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences). He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry at Shandong University (1986, 1989, and 2001). He carried out postdoctoral research at Pukyong National University (Korea) from 2012 to 2013 and worked as an advanced research scholar at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from 2015 to 2016. His research group focuses primarily on the design, controlled synthesis, modification, and hierarchical assembly mesostructure functional materials with specific morphology for energy applications including batteries and photocatalysis. His current research interests include the different application of functional mesoporous materials for photocatalytic hydrogen production, CO2 reduction, environmental remediation, and energy conversion and storage. He has published more than 170 peer-reviewed papers. He was granted 54 national invention patents in China and 2 invention patents in U.S.A.

Prof. Huawei Zhang

Qingdao University of Technology, China

Huawei Zhang is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, a Young Expert of the Taishan Scholars Program in Shandong Province, and the Director of the Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory of High-Value Utilization and Pollution Control of Multi-Source Solid Waste. He has authored over 80 SCI-indexed papers and holds 1 authorized U.S. patent as well as 18 domestic invention patents. Huawei Zhang serves as the principal investigator of one key project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, two general projects, and one young scientists' project. He has led more than 20 projects, including key research and development programs of Shandong Province and the Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province. His contributions have been recognized with prestigious awards such as the Second Prize of the National Technological Invention Award, the Second Prize of the Shandong Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress Award, and the Second Prize of the Shandong Provincial Technological Invention Award. His research focuses on gaseous pollutant control, resource utilization of organic solid waste, and new energy materials.

Prof. Chunyang Chen

Suzhou University of Science and Technology, China

Prof. Chunyang Chen graduated from the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Lanzhou University in 2018 with a doctor's degree. Then, he worked in the College of Earth and Environmental Science, Lanzhou University from 2018 to 2022, and has been with Suzhou University of Science and Technology since 2022. His research field is biological detection and environmental monitoring. At present, he has presided over one Natural Science Fund of Science and Technology Planning Project of Gansu Province, one Fundamental Research Funds for Central Universities, and one sub-project of the National Key Research and Development Program. A total of 24 SCI articles have been published, and his h-index is 15. He is serving as a reviewer for Spectrochimica Acta, Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy, RSC Advances, et al.
